The Flashlogic GM10-VSS is a vehicle-specific ready remote starter system for all 2007 through 2009 Chevrolet Equinox equipped with Factory Remote Keyless Entry Systems. Provides remote starting from your factory keyless entry transmitters by pressing the LOCK button 3 times, or LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK (Choice provided during checkout). The GM10-VSS PnP Remote Starter System Features:

• The GM10-VSS Remote Starter is Activated using your existing Factory Keyless Entry Remotes:
  Since the remote starter works/activates using your OEM remotes, the remote starter activation range will be exactly the same as the range you have now when locking and unlocking the vehicle. 
   
• CHOICE of Remote Start Activation Sequence: 
  The standard remote start activation procedure is by pressing your factory remotes LOCK button 3X (with horn beep confirmation), but if you prefer, we can pre-program the system for you to activate by pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK instead (without horn beep confirmation). Your choice is provided during checkout.
   
• Automatic Heat/Defrost/AC Activation: 
  In addition to just warming-up your vehicle's engine, the system will preheat, defrost, or pre-cool your Interior, depending on your last climate control settings: Just preset your heat or AC settings where you want them when parking, and the system will activate them a few seconds after the vehicle is running by the remote starter.
   
• 7 Remote Start Run Times to Choose from: 
  Choose how long you would like your vehicle to run for, you can choose 3, 5, 10, 15 Standard, 25, 30, or 35 minutes. Your choice is provided during checkout.
   
• Active Key-Takeover Feature: 
  The remote starter remains running after the driver's door is opened: Upon entering the vehicle, when you turn on the ignition and step on the brake to shift into gear, the remote starter will automatically shut off but the vehicle will remain running normally with the key, no need to restart the vehicle.
   
• Active Remote Quick Shut-Down Feature: 
  Change of plans and you're not going to leave just yet, and don't need the remote starter to run for its full run time? You can instantly shut down the remote starter the same way you activated it.
   
• Open Hood and Brake Pedal Monitoring for Safety & Security:
  If someone was to enter the vehicle while the vehicle is running by the remote starter, and they stepped on the brake pedal without turning the ignition on first with a key, the remote starter will immediately shut down. And, for safety reasons, the vehicle cannot be remotely started when the vehicle's hood is open.
   
• For Vehicle's without Auto-Lights, Optional Parking Lights ON While Running:
  A 1-Wire 3M style T-Tap connection can be made (all connectors included) for the parking lights to turn ON while your vehicle is running via the remote starter. Not a required connection.
