Remote Start your Ford F-150 using your Factory Keyless Entry Remote FOB's

The Fortin EVO- ALL 6.0 system is the ultimate plug & play factory fit remote starter system. It raised the standard of hassle-free installation convenience to a whole new level.

It doesn't require you to perform any pre-installation programming, online programming or require any additional components or information.

Each kit includes a step-by-step illustrated installation manual, carries a 2 year repair or replacement warranty with lifetime technical support access available to you via phone, email, live chat and even TxT, 7 days a week.

CHOICE of Remote Start Activation Sequence:
The standard remote start activation procedure is by pressing your factory remotes LOCK button 3X, but if you prefer, we can program the system to start by pressing LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK instead. If you think you would like this sequence better just use the drop down menu provided during ordering.

The most common reason to choose the "LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK" sequence is if your vehicle's remotes only beep the vehicle's horn when you press lock or unlock twice (a.k.a. "silent choice") and silently locks or unlocks the doors with just one press, then choosing the LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK remote start activation procedure will silently activate the remote starter without any horn confirmation.

Choice of 6 Remote Start Run Times:
15 Minutes is standard but you can choose 3, 7, 20, 30 or 60 Minutes. Choices provided during checkout.

Automatic HEAT/AC Activation:
Just leave your Heat or AC controls preset and the system will activate the circuit so you can pre-heat & defrost or pre-cool your trucks interior.

Automatic Heat Seats/Rear Defrost Activation:
If vehicle is equipped, just leave your automatic heated seats and/or rear defrost controls preset and the system will activate these circuits so you will have a pre-warmed seat and/or a defrosted rear window.

Parking Lights ON while Running Option:
Included optional connection that will turn on your vehicle's parking lights while it's running by the remote starter for visual confirmation. 2 x T-Tap connections from a parking lights relay (included) and 1 plug-in connection to relay from remote starter module are required to provide this feature.

Key Take-Over Feature:
Remote starter remains running when driver's door is opened. Upon entering the vehicle, when you turn on the ignition and step on the brake to shift into gear, the remote starter will automatically shut off but the vehicle will remain running normally with the key, no need to restart the vehicle.

Brake Pedal Shut-Down Feature:
If someone was to enter the vehicle while the vehicle is running by the remote start and they stepped on the brake pedal without turning the ignition on first, the remote starter will shut down.

Included Option: Remote Start Activation ON/OFF Toggle Switch :
1/4" Mini toggle switch that when placed in the ON position will inhibit the vehicle from being remote started. Ideal for when the vehicle is in for mechanical service.

INCLUDED OPTION: OEM Style Alarm Feature:
For F-150's without a factory alarm and you would like to add this feature, you can include this option during checkout (no additional charge or additional installation labor required, it's all in the pre-programming we do for you). This protects your truck with automatically alarming of all your truck's doors after you lock the vehicle's doors with your factory remote. The system will pulse the truck's horn if any of the vehicle's doors are opened without remotely unlocking them first.

Plug & Play Remote Upgrade for Extended Range:
Not happy with the range you get out of your factory remotes? Or your truck didn't come with factory remotes? You can simply add a couple of 1-button remotes that will provide up to 2000' of remote starter range (Sold separately @ $69.95, offered during checkout. Can also be added anytime after installation). Remote upgrade includes 2 x mini 1-button remotes with antenna base. The antenna easily 2-way tapes to the inside top center or left corner of your windshield.

2 Year Warranty:
MotorCityRemotes.com will replace any part of your system if its ever found to fail from normal everyday use for a period of 2 years from date-of-delivery.

→ BEFORE YOU ORDER: INSTALLATION TECHNICAL NOTES:

#1: 2 KEYS TO THE VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED:

2 keys to the vehicle are required to complete the installation programming of the system to the vehicle. Cannot use "cloned" type keys, must be 2 original or OEM equivalent replacement keys that were independently programmed to the vehicle's Ford PATS transponder key system. Keys are only used to program the system to the vehicle (the remote starter system is programmed to the vehicle using the factory 3rd key programming procedure)

#2: MUST CONFIRM IF YOUR VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A OEM FACTORY INSTALLED ALARM SYSTEM:

HOW TO DETERMINE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A FACTORY ALARM:

Step A: Roll down the driver’s door window: Close all vehicles doors and lock the doors using the factory remote:

Step B: After closing and locking the doors, wait at least 1 minute then reach in through the open window and manually open the driver’s door from the inside (some vehicle’s may require pressing the power unlock switch first). If the vehicle is equipped with a factory alarm system the vehicle’s horn will start pulsing almost immediately after the driver’s door is opened.

Ford Classic F150 Pickup Truck

Ford F150 History Facts:

Did you know that the Ford F-Series trucks were introduced to the United States in 1948 and they were known as the Ford Bonus-Built trucks. They were built on a dedicated truck platform unlike earlier versions that were built from car chassis during the war. Ford's very first truck was built in 1917 and it was based off the Model T and named the Ford Model TT. The truck had a cargo capacity of one ton back in the day, which, if you can imagine, was no small feat for that era.

The First Generation was between 1948 and 1952. The first generation F-Series trucks carried the designations of F-1 through F-8. They were rated by weight as panel trucks, conventional trucks, school buses, cab-over-engine, and of course, the pickup truck. Each truck was equipped with a manual transmission, and they featured driver and passenger side windshield wipers and a foot-plunger windshield washer. This was pretty high-tech stuff back then, as well as quite an accomplishment for Ford.

To signify the importance of the Ford truck history: The 1948 F-Series line was Ford's first post-war truck which debuted a year before Ford's first post-war car. Henry Ford shut down all civilian production during WWII in order to produce vehicles that would support our allies and our troops. When the war ended, the F-Series trucks, along with the veterans, were the first to be recognized.

Henry Ford changed the world with the Model T in 1908, and more importantly, the manufacturing process used to churn out inexpensive cars to put America on four wheels. The Model T truck arrived in 1917, using the same engine and front passenger area but with a stronger frame that could support a 1-ton payload and any number of coachbuilt pick-bed configurations. It sold well enough at $600 a piece until Ford decided it should manufacture the truck complete with a pickup-bed itself, and the first factory-assembled Ford pickup trucks emerged in 1925. By 1928 Ford had built and sold over one million Model T trucks and then built the Model AA and BB trucks with similar success.

In 1935 Ford introduced the Model 50 pickup based on the styling of its cars at the time. You could buy the Model 50 with any engine you wanted, as long as it was a Ford flathead V8. By the time WWII came around, when production was halted to help in the battle against the Axis powers, Ford had built and sold over four million units of the Model 50 pickup.
